Once Brackets are installed, secure your door by inserting key and turning a quarter turn to the clockwise direction allowing the lock mechanism to op out' and revert key back to original position; then, remove. Align security bar with its brackets with lock mechanism facing down and extend both ends outward, inserting them firmly into the brackets, then depress the locking button.
